Chairlift Rides

The Glencoe Mountain Resort is set in an area that is renowned for it’s scenic beauty; and one of the best ways to view this stunning scenery is by taking the chairlift. Enjoy a relaxing trip back down the same way, alternatively you can walk, mountain bike, ski/snowboard or even paraglide back down dependent on what season you come in.

Chairlift – opens 9am, last uplift 3.45pm

The chairlift runs throughout the year and takes you from the valley floor up to 2200ft in just 12 minutes with spectacular views of waterfalls, Ranoch Moor and towards the Buchaille Etive Mor.

The Eagles Rest, directly off of the chairlift provides a fantastic viewpoint with no need for any hiking. If you are feeling a little more adventurous there is another viewpoint on the Summit of Creag Dhubb; this is just a brisk 3/4 mile walk from the top of the chair and gives beautiful views down Glen Etive.

All ages can enjoy the chairlift and provision can be made for disabled access. Staff are on hand at both the bottom and the top to assist customers on and off the chairlift.

A return ride on the chairlift costs £20 for adults and £15 for children. Family tickets are £65 (2 adults + 2 children).
